CAVACHONS
~ 2024 ~
The following list is updated monthly and represents all who have expressed an interest in our Cavachon litters. This is not a public list and is shared only by link. Being placed on this list does not guarantee a puppy or approval of an application to purchase. Once pregnancy is confirmed we will open up for applications and deposits from those on this list in the order in which they appear until all puppies are placed. Please do not be discouraged if you are towards the end of the list. People often find puppies before our litters are born or are on several waitlists. It is not unusual for someone who is 25-30 on the list now to end up with a puppy from any given litter.
Everyone on this list will receive pregnancy confirmation and birth information. You can remove yourself from this list at any time by emailing [email protected] with subject "Remove from Interest List" - please do so as a courtesy to those lower on the list so that they may gauge their possibility of getting a puppy from an upcoming litter.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
- HOW MUCH ARE THESE PUPPIES? Our puppies vary in price based on the litter, sex and coloring of the puppy. The price for most litters will begin at $4300 per puppy.
- CAN YOU SEND ME THE PEDIGREE AND TESTING INFORMATION FOR THIS LITTER? All information on our breeding parents is available on our landing page on Good Dog. This can be found here: www.gooddog.com/breeders/lierchonpoo-south-carolina Please look under " Moms & Dads" on the left side of the page. From there, you can choose the parent dog to view records for.
- WHEN WILL WE HEAR FROM YOU? We email the parties on the interest list when the pregnancy and number of puppies are confirmed and when the puppies are born. We do not guarantee placement of any puppies until they are thriving (4 weeks old). We allow families with a completed application and deposit in place to choose their puppies around 6 weeks old.
- CAN I PUT DOWN A DEPOSIT? Our deposit is $500. We only accept deposits from families who have approved applications and have confirmed a desire to purchase a puppy from our program (as opposed to a specific litter). We don't recommend deposits from families who are on multiple waitlists or who have a desire for an immediate puppy. Deposits are not refundable (but are transferable) and represent our time, energy and effort in answering questions, providing health data, giving video and photo updates, etc. Please do not place a deposit until you are 100% sure you want a puppy from our program.
- WHEN WILL I GET MY PUPPY? Puppies do not go home until they are between 8 - 9 weeks old. We do not hold puppies beyond the “Going Home Date” for boarding or training as we feel the puppy is best suited to acclimate to your family and your environment. If you are unable to accept your puppy on the announced “Going Home Date”, we will gladly transfer your deposit to the next available litter of your choice. All families are made aware of the "Going Home Date" at the time of their application, with a firm date announced with the birth of the puppies.
- WHAT IF I DON'T GET A PUPPY? If you do not get a puppy from the current litter, this list will roll over to the interest list for our next litter. We will also email our interest list with any other puppy leads we find to try and help everyone on our list match with a puppy.
- WILL I BE ABLE TO MEET THE PUPPY AND PARENTS? Absolutely. All approved homes with deposits in place are invited to meet the puppies and parents before and during the puppy selection process (although there is no obligation to do so and we can Facetime / Zoom for our out-of-state families). We can not allow meeting of the puppies until they are thriving and weaning from mom. Please note that the meeting place will depend on the litter as our parents often live in guardian homes throughout the Charleston area. For example, Layla resides with our Bichons in John's Island (on a local farm). You will meet the mother and puppies in their home to see their environment, our enrichment programs and how they are raised.
- DO YOU SELL DOGS WITH BREEDING RIGHTS? We do not sell F1 Cavachons with breeding rights as we don't feel that they are suitable for breeding. We do not breed or sell F2 Cavachons ourselves and don't wish to promote that practice. The only exception to this rule is made for our breeding partners seeking to breed F1b Cavachons who are on our approved breeder list. If you would like to purchase a dog with full breeding rights, please contact us about a purebred Cavalier or Bichon.
- ARE YOUR DOGS AKC REGISTERED? Our breeding pairs are all AKC registered purebreds; however, dogs from this litter are hybrids (or designer mixes) and do not qualify for AKC registration.
- I HAVE MORE QUESTIONS: Prospective owners have lots of questions and we are happy to answer them. Please check out our FAQ page for additional information. If you don't find what you need, please also send us an email at [email protected] and make sure to read and search our blog for lots of information on this breed, our parents, etc.
