For those who have been patiently waiting on the Cavachon Interest list we are happy to announce that we have an additional litter planned. Kya went in to heat a little early (we were expecting these to be summer / fall puppies) but Charleston Canine Reproductive Center gave her the thumbs up for her first litter. She was bred to Bentley so we are hopeful for spring puppies from these two if all goes well. This breeding will produce F1 Cavachons most likely to be Blenheim (predominately white with apricot coloring), Tri-Colored (predominately white with black and tan coloring) or sable (predominately white with dark brown coloring). We do not guarantee weight, but this litter should range between 12 - 20 pounds. Kya (aka Princess Pandora) is a purebred Bichon Frise whose full adult weight is 11.5 lbs. She is imported from Europe where both of her parents hold Championship titles. Kya is registered with both the FCI (Federation Cynoloqique International) and the AKC registry. In the United States, Kya enjoys life outside of the show ring with her Guardian Home family living in Mount Pleasant, SC where she is the only dog and best (human) friend to Lucas. She us up to date on her DNA and OFA testing. The sire of this litter, Bentley, is our tri-colored Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (CKCS) whose full adult weight is 16 pounds. He has several Champions in his pedigree which include the well known Champion lines of Castlemar and Sheeba. Bentley's mother is a trained therapy dog who works with Special Needs Children and that temperament is evident in his breeding. Bentley's has an incredibly soft coat with beautiful markings. His coat genetics are aaEess which means he is capable of producing all four color Cavaliers (and therefore a range of Cavachon colors as well). Bentley is great with kids and lives in a household with two young boys who love him dearly. Bentley has a typical King Charles personality, an incredibly lovable spaniel who enjoys long walks, chasing squirrels and cuddling. Although technically a "stud" for our program, Bentley is better described by his family as a lovable goofball. He brings a solid pedigree, strong DNA panel, beautiful coat and sweet temperament to our program. He is up to date on his OFA certifications for heart, patella and eyes. This litter is already reserved by those on our interest list and will not be available for sale. If you would like to join our interest list to get information on our breedings and an invitation to purchase a future puppy, please email [email protected] for more information. Please also make sure to follow us on Facebook for updates and photos of our dogs and puppies. 2020 was certainly hectic for dog breeders as prospective puppy owners scrambled to find a new puppy during the quarantine. Many who felt they didn't have time for a puppy were suddenly trying to find the perfect pet. Although we pride ourselves on being a small home based breeding program, we were happy to help numerous families find their perfect pet but we know many are still waiting and anxious to know what we have planned for 2021. If you are on one (or more) of our interest lists or are considering adding your name, here is some information on what we currently have planned for this spring. CAVALIERS - We hope to have at least 3 litters of purebred Cavaliers this year and will potentially have additional puppies from our studs. All three planned breedings can result in ANY of the traditional colors (Blenheim, Tri-Color, Black & Tan or Ruby). The first planned breeding will be KoKo - our DNA clear Black and Tan - who will be in heat in February. We're still trying to decide which male we will use for KoKo but will update this post once a breeding is confirmed. Our first litter of Cavalier puppies are expected around April 2021. CAVACHONS - We will attempt at least three litters of Cavachons this year and perhaps four. Those on the Layla interest list have been waiting a while as her last heat did not result in a pregnancy. This spring we will make another attempt with Layla as well as try for a first litter from Kya. Both of these female Bichons will be bred with Bentley (Tri-Color Cavalier) in early spring for various Cavachon colors. CAVAPOOS - We've only recently expanded our program to include Cavapoos. We are hopeful to have our first litter in 2021 but do not expect significant litters until early 2022. We are also actively looking for opportunities to stud our beautiful new poodle for outside litters which will be offered to our waitlist. This is currently our shortest list as we are not actively advertising Cavapoos. The majority of the people on this interest list are also on the Cavachon or Cavalier list. If you are looking for a future Cavapoo (more than a year away), we would suggest you go ahead and add your name to the interest list now. The majority of our Cavapoos will be red with white markings. If you would like to learn more about the parents that will be bred this year, please look at our MEET THE PARENTS page and follow our FACEBOOK PAGE where we create albums of our parents and puppies.
This is a checklist you can use and share to help stop puppy scams! We would love to hear your comments on what should be added to the list. And please, please remember that if it seems to good to be true (the perfect apricot and white Cavapoo for only $800 that's available NOW), then it is! Stay diligent and STOP THE SCAMS.
These adorable puppies are actually AVAILABLE from a reputable breeder in Utah. If you miss out on these, she has another litter coming in August. Please note that these puppies are in Utah, but I know their breeder personally and I can vouch for the quality of her dogs (our stud Bentley came from Sharon). Her dogs are not inexpensive (but worth every penny) and a flight nanny will be required to get these babies to the east coast. Please reach out to Sharon directly at 801-633-2855 for details. Males and females currently available and ready to go home soon.
This adorable duo is all grown up and ready to have puppies of their own. We anticipate breeding them in September of this year. Both Layla and Bentley have passed their DNA and OFA testing.
Layla - Layla is a purebred Bichon Frise whose full adult weight is 10 lbs. Layla's Embark DNA panel is absolutely perfect (described as "DNA Clear" for all possible genetic conditions). This makes Layla a great breeder because she carries no genetic conditions that can be passed on to her offspring. Layla lives in John's Island, SC on a farm with her guardian family. Layla is without a doubt one of the most lovable, well-mannered, obedient pups we have ever raised. Layla goes to work with her guardian every day and has never met a stranger. She loves people and animals of all sorts (including the chickens on the farm). She does really well on a leash, but generally doesn’t need one. Growing up as the only dog on the farm in Johns Island, she has plenty of room to run free, loves to help around the property and constantly needs a bath to keep that beautiful coat clean. After a long day at work or running the farm, she enjoys evenings snuggled on the couch binge watching Netflix. Bentley - Bentley is a tri-colored Cavalier King Charles Spaniel whose full adult weight is 16 pounds. Bentley is small for a male and we expect this pairing to result in smaller Cavachons (although a Megachon is always a possibility). Bentley's coat genetics is aaEess which means he is capable of producing all four color Cavaliers (and therefore a range of Cavachon colors as well). Bentley has a typical King Charles personality, an incredibly lovable spaniel who loves long walks, chasing squirrels and cuddling with his family. Bentley is great with kids and lives in a household with two young boys. This pair will produce F1 Cavachons most likely to be Blenheim (predominately white with apricot coloring), Tri-Colored (predominately white with black and tan coloring) or sable (predominately white with dark brown coloring). We do not guarantee weight but this litter should range between 12 - 18 pounds. If you have an interest in this litter, please email us at [email protected] and ask to be placed on our "interest list." This is not a wait list but will make sure we provide you email updates including when we open the waitlist for this litter. Two adorable male Cavapoos, both black and white, are currently available in Oklahoma and will be ready for their new homes soon. We know so many of you are searching for puppies so we wanted to share this lead, even though it's far away. The breeder's daughter works as a flight nanny so it's possible for the puppy to be flown to you in-cabin. Prices are very reasonable. Breeder's name is Andrea Vaughn. Her email is [email protected]. Her phone number is 918-413-0729. I would suggest calling or texting today (like, right now) if you have a serious interest. Please note that we are sharing these puppies but we do not know Andrea personally. We have reviewed her information to confirm she is not a scammer but we do not know about the quality of her dogs due to her distance from SC. Please do your due diligence in asking all the right questions (see our blog post on finding the right breeder). If you decide to work with Andrea, we would love to hear from you to know your experience! I was SO EXCITED to learn today that a breeder we work with in Utah has recently had a litter of Cavapoos. She normally breeds Cavaliers and I can personally speak for the quality of her dogs. Because she isn't on the Cavapoo pages she still has ONE puppy from this litter that is available NOW. She also has another litter expected in the next two weeks so this would be a short waitlist for a SUMMER puppy. If you are interested in these puppies I suggest you reach out to Sharon IMMEDIATELY to get on her list. Do not waste time contacting us on these puppies and remember that they are not local - they are in Utah and will be flown with a flight nanny. Her website is not up to date (shows Cavaliers only) - text her at 801-633-2855 or email her at [email protected]. I am IN LOVE with this litter of puppies. 5 Tri-colored females and one Blenheim boy with the perfect Queens Thumbprint on his blaze. Born to Dash and Chantilly. They will be ready to go home in April. Contact for more information. This is an out of state breeder who shares her litters with us as she's not on Facebook. We can help you safely ship your puppy in-cabin and can often combine shipments for multiple families at one time.
One of our FAVORITE breeders up north has a beautiful new litter of male Cavaliers. This breeder is known for solid health testing and great temperaments. Even better, her pet only price is a very reasonable $1500 as compared to many breeders in the south who are at $2500+. Because of her prices, getting a spring puppy using a flight nanny is a great option. Please email us for more information or to be put in direct contact with the breeder!
